James Haines is a nurse on the night shift. He is good at his job, but even better at killing. He has a hobby of killing the odd patient here and there, remaining undetected and unsuspected whilst continuing to stalk the hospital wards in search of his next victim. Until he makes a mistake.
The police know that James is the killer and James knows that they know, but proving that he is responsible for an increasing number of deaths proves to be an impossible job. He is free to indulge in his harrowing actions.
The police need to find something that will bring about James' downfall. But will they even manage to bring him to justice?
Yes, it was certainly gripping. I enjoyed reading a local book, but with fictitious places within the towns. Very believable story about a serial killer, makes you think.
