Ivy Samuels was devastated when her boyfriend dumped her, saying he needed to trade up to something better. And when she realizes his something better was her boss who he had been cheating on her with, she quits her job. So she’s out of a job and a double crossing boyfriend. When the hockey player in her building offers to help her out as her plus one, and he is obviously flirting, she can’t help but to accept.
With no job, Ivy pursues some of her own interests with fashion blogging. And, she takes a job as the team mascot for the Avengers. The same team the guy in the building that offered to help her plays for. But then, wait, the team captain is flirting with her too!
Hayes Armstrong has never wanted to do anything but play professional hockey. But he’s been traded four times in as many years. He loves playing for the Avengers in San Francisco. He needs to devote every second he has to making sure he plays his best so they will keep him. He doesn’t have time for anything else, especially the sexy woman he just offered to be plus one for in his building. But he can’t seem to resist her.
Stefan Christiansen is Captain for the Avengers. He has been friends with Hayes since college and is thrilled to have him on his team. He has been secretly crushing on Ivy for months but she wasn’t single at the time. Now she is so he just needs to find a way to ask her out. Only it seems like Hayes is interested too.
A dare in Vegas has Ivy and Hayes getting married. And their wedding night is shared with not only Hayes, the groom, but Stefan as well, giving Ivy the night of her life! They planned to have the marriage annulled the next morning. Only they are caught by the team owner so they decide to stay married long enough to fulfill their obligations. All three of these people have been hurt before, all three have trust issues. But the longer they are together, the less fake their marriage feels. And the less any of them want to walk away. Ivy is falling for both her husband and her secret boyfriend at the same time.
This was so steamy. Both guys are super bossy in the bedroom, almost to the point that it had some very mild dom/sub vibes, even though it wasn’t that type of book. All three of these characters so deserved a happy ending. I loved the way that both guys just fell into the role of sharing Ivy. There were no issues or jealousy. It just seemed meant to be, the three of them together. The next book in the series will be called Thoroughly Pucked. I can’t wait!
What is it about book two in a series ? Book two is ALWAYS exponentially better. And here I thought book one couldn’t be topped.. I’ve never been so happy to be wrong because Lauren definitely topped this one with extra toppings, whipped cream and 3 cherries!
I've read a lot of Lauren Blakely's books, , and usually, I love them, but not this time. It's kind of like, "Let's jump right to the spice and forget about the story." Whereas No 1 in the series had a story.
this was so cringe. it’s almost as if the author saw any viral post on social media about what people like in spice and threw it in this book regardless of if it made sense or not. this was too forced
FULL DISCLOSURE: Not going to lie, I was apprehensive about investing in this story only because the first book did not hit right for me in multiple levels, and I didn’t even finish the story! I was afraid some of the aspects in that story would be a *trend* in the series, but I was wrong! yay
I was so enamored with this story when I read it last week (10/05-10/06) that I immediately jumped to audible on release day (10/09) and started listening that evening! Now that I have experienced reading and listening to this story, I can tell you that either way you decide to experience this story, it is going to put a smile on your face and make your heart sing! #trust
I really don’t have a whole lot to say about this story except it was equal parts flirty and sexy with such a huge heart that I just want to be their friend! You know, how a story makes you feel when you’re reading and/or listening should be the highest determinant of your overall experience. If you don’t feel the story, did you really enjoy it? How a story makes me feel has always been one of the cornerstones of my enjoyment. At the end of the day, as they say, when someone asks me about a story, I will remember how I felt before I remember details of the story and if the story made me feel like this story made me feel, I am going to remember more and more of it as the days go by. I am basically always either listening to something or reading something so remembering details is not my superpower LOL Feel me? (no pun intended)
SO, go do the thing any which way you like. It will be time well spent! #TRUST :) ✦ Amazon ➜ http://blkly.pub/PuckYes
Narration: Jacob Morgan is usually not a narrator that I enjoy because his narration feels very stilted to me when he narrates any inner monologue parts. He's great conversationally, but every time it's a character's inner thoughts, he comes across as robotic and not natural. *shrug* Because this team was so great, it didn't even make a lick of difference to me! MAD PROPS to Samantha, Teddy & Jacob!!!
"Puck Yes" by Lauren Blakely is a sizzling rollercoaster of a romance, brimming with humor, and intense passion. This book truly embodies smutty, erotic rom-com at its finest. Blakely's storytelling prowess shines through in her ability to deliver witty banter, quirky one-liners, and smart humor that keeps you entertained from start to finish.
The story revolves around Ivy, a spirited and talented woman who is coming out of a bad relationship. Ivy's character is endearing, and her insecurities and doubts tug at your heartstrings because she's genuinely kind and sweet. You can't help but root for her as she navigates her way through love and relationships, especially since she hasn't had the best role models in that department.
Enter the trio of captivating characters - Stefan, Hayes, and Ivy. Stefan exudes confidence and passion, but even this alpha has his moments of vulnerability. Hayes, the new guy on the team, is determined not to let anything distract him this season, but Ivy proves to be an irresistible temptation. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, and the case of insta-lust quickly turns into a slow-burning love that's impossible to resist.
The book explores the dynamics of a fake marriage and a secret boyfriend. Ivy finds herself entangled in a complex web of emotions as she juggles her feelings for both Stefan and Hayes. Their adoration and obsession with her are swoon-worthy, and it's heartwarming to see how both Hayes and Stefan believe in her and support her unconditionally.
The steamy moments in the book are abundant and scorching hot, filled with hard and fast passion that will leave you hot, bothered and breathless. It's so intense that you might even consider calling the fire brigade or emergency services!
In addition to the love story, the book also delves into the world of professional hockey, and the camaraderie among the team members is a delightful aspect of the narrative. The seamless acceptance of Ivy into the team's bromance adds depth to the story and makes it even more engaging.
Puck Yes is a captivating and spicy erotic romance that delivers on every front - humor, passion, and emotion.
Honestly I would of rated this higher if I hadn’t read the first one, it just seems like a basic version of double pucked with out as much going on, there just didn’t seem to any storyline
Unfortunately so boring. I finally just gave it up at 83%. So close to done but just couldn't. For an author who can always make an enjoyable romance these poly ones have been really lacking for me.
This one was alittle better than book 1 it felt more rounded out with all 3 ppls.
Ivy was dumped months before finding out her ex screwed her boss and is marrying her now. She's covering the wedding and trying to find a new job. This is where she meets Hayes, the new guy on the hockey team, and it's insta between the two . He offers her to be her date to the wedding, and she says yes, and they have a friendship. She also meets Stefan captain, and she knows he flirts with her, but she doesn't become she believes he's still taken, which he is not. So, the three bonds since Hayes and Stefan have been friends and have shared before, but nothing like this.
The joke around and with the hockey team they do a dare Hayes and Ivy get married for fun but before they could annul it they get caught and having to fake being married. Which sucks for Stefan since he's part of the group. They do have some ups and downs in how they can deal with the relationship, but they talked and worked things out. I love that they made sure Stefan wasn't left out since they were "married." I did hate when they kept calling him her secret boyfriend. No, that's her man.
I'm debating on reading book 3. Because I'm confused, we got some hints who... I know it's Dev and Ledger, but in this book, Dev is dating Eva... and we saw. I guess their love interest goes on a date, so it's not instalove like these last 2 books

Ivy Samuels' life has just gone through some major changes but not in a good way. She is now single, jobless, and swearing off men...or maybe not. It is hard to resist the gift of a hot body with a great sense of humor and a flirty, dirty talker. Or his teammate who is paying attention to her and distracting her with his hockey bod too.
Hayes Armstrong always seems to be the new guy on the team. And now he is joining the Avengers. He is a bit introspective and laser-focused, but he can also be charming, flirty, dirty, and commanding. He has a great sense of humor and is willing to help a girl out. When she needs a date for a wedding, he volunteers. But then they find out that there are some complications with the idea of them becoming more. But it is also kind of fun to ride the line and live in a bit of denial and flirt anyway.
Stefan is the team Captain and an old friend of Hayes. He is playful, outgoing, sexy, and a lot of fun. But he is also a bit broken and lonely under his happy-go-lucky persona. And he has had a thing for Ivy for a while but there were barriers at the time.
One woman. Two Men that want her. One night in Vegas. Flirting, a bit of alcohol, a dare, a double dare, and some truly honest communication. Things kind of escalate quickly and they surprise even themselves. Viva Las Vegas and that jazz. But sometimes choices lead you down unexpected paths.
A public husband. A secret boyfriend. Two attentive, sexy, and swoony heroes. Double the pleasure and double the complications.
This is a spicy, engaging, witty, bantery, Vegas-wedding-plus-one, co-workers, MFM hockey romance. I loved Ivy. She is sassy, motivated, and just trying to make a new life for herself. She has insecurities, but the guys start to try to build up her confidence and show her what she is worth. And Hayes is a caring, swoony, good-guy hero with an intense, bossy bedside manner. But he also has many layers to him with some fear, insecurities, and coping mechanisms. And Stefan is so easygoing, seductive, and thoughtful, but has his own vulnerability and sometimes feels left out. And they all have some trust issues from their pasts causing insecurities in addition to the other extenuating circumstances and ticking clock on their arrangement. It's a hot mess of emotions and the outcome is not clear. But I just adored how they balanced each other and came together.
The side characters bring more humor and drama and I am excited to see more with some of them. And there is the cutest pupper too. But there are a couple of antagonists that made me cringe and I will be happy never to hear from them again. But I am also intrigued by some of their friends and am looking forward to more.
why can't i live in the reality where throuples with two hot hockey players are a regular thing?
this was so fun and cute. ivy quit her job after her boss got engaged to her ex and then asked her to write an article on her wedding. in her time of employment desperation, her brother gets her a job as the mascot for his old hockey team. lucky for her, two of the players are interested in her and both like to share.
this was such a fun, hot read. lauren always brings the spice and the dynamic between the three of them was PHEWWWW. but it was seriously so cute how both hayes and stefan both fell first and when one got in his head a little bit, they were both in it together to win her back.
I really enjoyed reading/listening to this story!! Ivy was so great & I loved that she got a little bit of revenge on her awful cheating ex who wanted a girlfriend upgrade that happened to be ivys boss. Ugh such a douche. You get your men, GIRL!!!
Stefan & Hayes were PERFECT!!! Loved the hockey studs who also were past friends!! I loved the trio. Loved their energy. They were so good for each other & had some panty-dropping moments together! And the overall Throuple vibes were just perfect!
There were so many unforgettable moments. The naked gardening scene. Vegas. The Zamboni scene… are you KIDDING ME?! So hot & unique 💦 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes: Hockey romance MFM Fake marriage Forced proximity RomCom
I’ve described Lauren Blakely’s writing before as fun. And this one continued that description.
📔 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼: Puck Yes, book two in the My Hockey Romance character series by Lauren Blakely.
📚𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲: MFM, sports romance (hockey), golden retriever, he’s (well… they’ve) loved her all along.
📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Fresh off rage quitting her job, Ivy meets Hayes - the newest winger for the San Francisco Avengers. But as the pair decide to cool it, Hayes best friend and Avengers captain Stefan steps in to throw his hat in the ring for Ivy’s affection.
🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: I read both of these books back to back, and thought I’d get tired of the throuple-ness. But they were both so good I couldn’t get enough.
Ivy is such a fun main character. I love how she embraces herself and her sexuality. For part of the book, she’s the team’s mascot, and her quirkiness is just so refreshing.
Hayes and Stefan are 🔥🔥🔥. Hayes is all broody and closed off and Stefan knows he wants Ivy from the start. I love when a book with more than two main characters develops those characters well. And by the end of this, they’re both so vulnerable it’s hard not to be attracted to them.
And the spice. Woo girl, this is one-handed spice. Which, to me… makes a damn near perfect book.
📝 𝗔 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲… This one works as a true standalone. You really don’t have to read the first book. But it was also a solid read so I’d recommend it.
Tropes: ~ Hockey romance ~ Fake marriage ~ Secret relationship
AHHHH I LOVED THIS ONE. I actually liked this one a little more than the first one even! Lauren Blakely does a really good job with writing super spicy MFM romances! I really loved the characters in this one and I can't wait for the next book.
I knew after Double Pucked book one in the My Hockey Romance series that I would have to give book two a read. I know with book one as with this one there were a lot of mixed reviews, but I found this story just as fun and enjoyable as book one. If I had one complaint it was that there was no sword crossing but that is just me a thing. It didn't take away from the story at all!
With Puck Yes I opted for the audio because Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton together are just pure brilliance but then add in Samantha Brentmoor and the narration amped this story up for me.
Ivy was what I loved most about this book because while she is getting out of a bad relationship, she didn't lose any of her zest for life or the qualities that made her character so enjoyable. This girl has been through the ringer and hasn't had the best life at times but that just made me want to root for her more.
Enter Hayes and Stefan, both men brought something to this book that kind of gave Ivy everything she's never had. While both men had their own things going on the way that they worshipped Ivy was sweet and while a tad overdone still perfect for this story.
Without a doubt I will be continuing with this series, and I think up next is a Christmas or Holiday novella. Yes, I realize it is January, but your girl has a bit of OCD and can't read a series out of order.
Wow. Do not let these cartoon covers fool you. The spice in this series will make you sweat 🥵 I loved Double Pucked so much so I was excited to read Puck Yes. Lauren Blakely writes the perfect spicy, funny, swoony Rom Coms that will make you laugh out loud one minute & blushing the next.
This was my first Lauren Blakely & first ‘why choose?’ book too. I really enjoyed it throughout it was a quick & easy to read where the characters are relatable in the sense that we’ve all felt how they have felt at one point. The main characters Ivy, Stefan & Hayes had a really great dynamic between them. I loved that Ivy was finally learning to trust again, Stefan is learning to be vulnerable & Hayes is finally learning to not let fear hold him back.
I absolutely love hockey romance books (they’re my fave) & I’m so glad I got the chance to read this one. It was different to my usual style of hockey romances but I still really loved it. The storyline of this book also seemed natural & I felt like it had a good pace to it (nothing was rushed).
There were also loads of spicy scenes throughout this book which we LOVE!!!
I loved Laurens writing style throughout & would love to try some more of her books after this. It was also a good taster into “why choose?” romances too.
Thank you to Lauren & Candi Kane PR for sending me an ARC of this book! I really appreciate it.
This was my first read by this author and I absolutely loved this spicy why choose hockey romance. I listened to this story on audiobook (amazing) as I read along on kindle. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely loved this MFM hockey romance! Lauren Blakely always knows how to brings us amazing characters with genuine connections. Things to look for in this book:
MFM romance ✔️ Hockey romance ✔️ Fake marriage ✔️ Vegas wedding ✔️ Workplace romance ✔️ Exhibitionism kink ✔️
After getting dumped by her boyfriend for her boss, Ivy is on a mission to prove his opinions wrong about her. So when her now ex-boss asks her to cover her wedding, she agrees in order to further her career. But she knows that she needs a hot date to show up and that is where Hayes comes in.
Hayes is the new guy in town and wants to get off on the right foot with his team so that he can get a new contract and plant down roots. That means no girlfriends and no fun. But when he meets Ivy in the elevator, he offers to be her wedding date. Not knowing that his best friend is into her.
Stefan and his ex-fiance broke up months ago and now he finally has the chance to go after his ex-teammates sister Ivy. But he’s quickly realizing that his best friend Hayes has already peaked her interest. So what can be done? Well, of course they come to conclusion that they want to share her like they have done before and Ivy is all for that!
Throw in an accidental Vegas wedding, a secret boyfriend, and a hidden workplace romance and you got yourself a fun, banter filled book!
The thing I liked most about this book was that these characters were all independent, yet very similar to each other, which made them work so well. They were all so agreeable, genuine, and loving towards each other. There was no one character that stood out between the three because the author just makes you fall in love with them as a whole unit.
Looking forward to the next book in this series! I am devouring these hockey books by Lauren Blakely.
This is the two book of the series, and they follow different characters in each book. This book was better than book one and while it was a good change of pace, it was still just “okay” I thoroughly enjoyed the voice actors in this book though so that’s a win!
