I started reading the first book of the series, The Mother-Daughter Book Club while I was on vacation during the summer. I wasn't even sure about buying the book, but I did anyways, and I sure am glad I did. This series is a series of five of the most relatable books I have ever read. The characters seem real, and I loved them all. They all have normal problems of teenage girls, yet they are all so innocent. I have done book projects on these books, and told many friends about them. I want to re-read the whole series, and I'm serious. THAT'S how amazing these books truly are.

A fun read. Each book takes place over a year in which the mother-daughter book club reads one book together. I loved how each book was filled with facts and thoughts about the book the girls were reading. I had read most of the books they were reading (Little Women, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, etc.), but found two series mentioned that I hadn't read yet that are now on my to-read (the Daddy Long Legs series and the Betsy-Tacy series). Fun books overall.

This series is AMAZING. Every girl could relate in some way. There is at least one character you could relate to in this book- a character that is going through something you are, or something you have gone through. My mom and I loved it. I would reccommend this to any girl. It is a realistic fiction. Everything that happens is so much fun to read. Its normal everyday life... but everyone knows life is crazy. Read it!!! My mom and I definitely mark it as one of our favorites!

This is my favorite book series!!!
I just love how the book club goes on a trip in every book and how funny the girls can be. Age wise I would say that this is for tweens but I'm sure anyone could in joy it. I also love how they interduse you to adorable, classic books!

Great book to read with your daughter. It was interesting coming from a rural community the way they tried to make their community seem like a small town. It was entirely to quaint and felt stretched at times. It was certainly written by someone who grew up on the east coast. Regardless of my west coast / east coast rural vs urban differences it was a great book.

Cute storyline and this is the first of the series. Recommended to me by my favorite 9 year old 🥰

I read these a long time ago. So I'm not sure what I would think of them now if I re-read them. However, I will give them four stars because I definitely LOVED them when I read them, and who knows? Maybe I'd still love them now! On a side note, the books they read are fantastic:D
