Cara is one of those authors who I’ve loved every book I’ve read by her. I’m always immediately drawn in and can’t put it down. And when she said this book was a slow burn, but when it hits, it’s like a meteor- she absolutely wasn’t lying!!
I loved Vlad, he was suppose to be this unemotional, intimidating, cold man because it’s what’s expected of him by his father. But he’s not, this man feels. He was truly breathtaking, how he cared for his sister, and everything he did for Morgana’s parents. I was blown away by this man. And when he and Morgana got together- damn!! Was it hot, like other level hot. Wow.
I am so looking forward to getting Lili’s story, that poor girl deserves all the happiness. I was so excited for her about Juilliard. And I’m sensing a little spark between her and Armen! There were so many characters introduced, and I’m hoping for all their stories! Especially Avel. I’m also looking forward to Sasha’s, I can see him running after Josie and bringing her back!
Oh and that ending! I almost got teary eyed over Luca. When he said he waited for Stefania, and how he kissed their tree… I almost cried. That was so sweet.
This was such a great book, and a really great start to a new series, and I’m so excited for more to come!

I couldn’t put this book down. By 9% in I was hooked.

Had hopes, but by 18%, not one thing about the book hooked me to continue reading.
Another clip I'd seen from tiktok I believe that set a standard the book did not deliver.

This one didn't really work for me. I just couldn't buy into Morgana and Vladi. I love mafia romances but this one felt forced.
Vladi comes across as this hard core, ruthless mafia man, but he's making really stupid mistakes because he's supposedly blinded by Morgana. Morgana I didn't really care for either.
But one of my biggest issues was how they all just talk out in the open. I mean Vladi goes on a killing spree because you don't disrepct anyone in the Bratva, but yet the housekeeper bad mouths the dad out in the open in the kitchen like it's no big deal? Then talks about how Vladi isn't anything like him?? This doesn't work for me.
There were other things, but I just found this to be really cliche but not in a good way.

If Cara Bianchi is a favourite of yours, then you are in for a treat.
Morgana and Vlad are from two different worlds, but when they collide in the most unexpected of ways, for them, there is no turning back.
Vlad is a family man and will do anything to keep them safe. Morgana had everything going for her until her father lost it all, putting her on a path with not much choice but to continue moving forward.
Vlad loved his mother with all his heart, but after her passing, he was hardened by his father, which is the way of the Bratva life. To secure his future, Vlad must marry, and he has his intended bride.
Morgana is thrusted into a world she knows nothing about. She takes everything in her stride, proving she can adapt to this way of life. But what she didn’t count on was falling in love with Vlad and him her. They fight their feelings for each other, denying themselves what they want. But when they give in, you’ll understand why Cara made the readers wait for these scenes with bated breath.
Morgana comes to respect Vlad for his actions, the way he has taken care of not only her, but her parents, she wants nothing for herself, but Vlad will protect and defend his wife with his life, because she is helping him to become a better man.
And when her life and the life of his sister are put in danger, Vlad proves that he has what it takes to be not only the best leader but the best husband he can be.
What a great introduction to a new series, new characters who bring depth to the story, whilst waiting for their story to be told, and I am looking forward to seeing which direction these characters go in.
Their slow burn romance had the right amount of build up, and when they collided, boy, those blazing hot bedroom scenes ignited a flame of passion and desire, one that would not be denied.
And that ending was bittersweet as it was beautiful.

You are going to love this enemies to lovers mafia romance. This book is filled with action, adventure, suspense, romance, darkness, and secrets.
You will fall hard for Vladimir Kislev. He is an alpha a hole to the tenth degree. It’s his way or no way but he does have a soft spot for Morgana Bloom. Their story doesn’t start conventionally but they have spark and where there’s a spark there will soon be fire. Enjoy yourself when you delve into this amazing mafia romance. Happy Reading!!

I AM RUINED
I have NEVER highlighted so much in my life when reading! From the first page to the last I was enthralled. Vlad and Morgana are one explosive couple! Then you have the dynamic of the siblings and the best friend that ties into the story, this is epic. I can not wait to see where the rest of this series goes.

The start of the Angels & Brutes hoping the books in the series that follow are just like this grabs you and don’t let you go you better hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Morgana…..Morgana if it wasn’t for bad luck she would have no luck really dating has been a horrible ride from he** first boyfriend a monster from your nightmares, second man wanted to pimp her out, now being forced into a position that leaves her no other option but to sell her body because her no good father has gotten them into a whole of debt, mother is in need of medical and when it gets too much goes to sit in the park only to be attacked by some thugs but there is one ray of light or so she thinks when a man steps in to save her but boy did she jump out of the frying pan straight into the fire. Vlad sexy as all get out next in line bratva boss with an agenda of his own, ruthless when needed, deadly on a good day, coming across some thugs assaulting a woman stepping in but when he gets a good look he decides right then and there she would be his queen rather she wants to be or not saving her gives him a bargaining chip. The attraction is there between them from the moment he saves her but of course when she learns who he is or what he does makes her second guess and further confirms she chooses the worst men he sees sides to him that frighten her but not enough for her to stand up to him not realizing that attracts him because most just cower at his feet. But when dangers are thrown at them from left and right will he protect her, will be his father successor, will she learn her role in his world which is back him up, will her father get straighten out, will her mom get the medical attention needed, what of the debt owed by her father, did she really pick the wrong guy or is he just what she needed and can they find happiness through all that is thrown their way?.

This one has totally made me feel such a wide range of emotions that I'm feeling so much right now but the most shocking feeling would be to finally have fallen for the hot brute, Vladimir Kislev.
We meet Morgana, who's struggling to not only provide for her family but also the financial burden of debts that have built up because of her dad's mistakes.
She's doing her best but it seems like she's being dealt one bad hand after another and now it seems like she will have to take a step that she doesn't want to but will have to.
I really felt deeply for Morgana and felt so bad for that poor girl. For her, her family matters more than anything and she is even ready to throw herself down for them.
Vladimir is the eldest son and next in line to be the Pakhan. But his cruel father made his last condition such that Vlad would be more tormented. Especially if he does not marry then all that would be rightfully his would go to someone else.
When Morgana and Vlad met I felt like there was an instant spark of chemistry between them. One is used to dominate and get what he wants and the other might be in dire need but she doesn't take things lying down.
Morgana and Vlad were definitely perfect for each other. The way they bicker and go toe to toe, made me want to bring out the popcorn and see what would happen next.
The romance is equally balanced out with the Mafia side of business while also riddled with secrets and twists.
Vlad, initially didn't exactly make a good impression on me and seriously I didn't think I would even like him, but that man peeled back his layers and showed me what lies beneath all that coldness and I'm here for it all.
Vlad was crazy over Morgana and I have to say their Hot times together were fcking Raw, Animalistic and on fire for each other. I was melting with all the heat they created.🔥🔥
I also loved Liliana, she was definitely my favourite along with Sasha, Josie and the others.
I seriously couldn't get enough of Vlad and Morgana and I'm so excited for more from this world. Loved loved this one.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

If you enjoy your rich, possessive, hot and sexy book characters that give you all the feels, THIS IS FOR YOU! This book is a slow burn, but when it starts burning, SO DO YOU!!! Start scheduling a day off of work, send the kids to the babysitter, open your schedule right up because you will not stop once you start!

It would have only been a day, if I had not come down with a cold 😭 I love the slow burn in this book, and when I said it starts BURNING, I mean it! This will have you turning on the air, even if it’s winter and below freezing temperatures! I am eagerly waiting for the next book 😍 I NEED to know what happens next!

The writing was fantastic and very easy to follow along with. The characters are lovable, besides the ones we are not meant to love! Not to mention, short chapters! You can never go wrong with short chapters! I personally love short chapters, so that I don’t have to stop in the middle of one. The short chapters, the writing style, and the characters made this story so incredible and one of my best reads of 2023! 🤩

Ruined Beauty by Cara Bianchi is one of those books that grabs a hold of you and doesn't let go. You go through so many feels while diving into this adventure.
What's a girl to do when she falls from the frying pan straight into the fire? Well Morgana finds out first hand. Morgana has always been drawn to the worst kind of man. Her first serious boyfriend made her believe he was her all and then turned into the monster of her nightmares. Then she falls for A man who she believes will give her the stars and instead expects her to use her body to make him money. Which she is about to do to help make money to pay for her mother's medical bills and hopefully pull her family out of the financial hole her dad has dug them into.
The day after her first "date" with a decrepit, disgusting, client, Morgana goes to the park to be alone, only to be attacked by two deviants. Her handsome savior turns out to be a man with his own agenda.
In order to take over the family's business, Vlad must take a wife. When he stumbles across Morgana in the park and rescues her from her attackers, he decides she will be his bride.
Will Morgana's hatred for Vlad get in the way of the marriage or will they be able to work together to live and love? Outside forces may have other ideas.
I highly recommend Ruined Beauty by Cara Bianca if you love Russian mafia stories with lots of action and just the right amount of steam.

A new author to me Cara Bianchi impressed me with this book..which is the start of a new Mafia romance series.
There is alot going on in this story and we meet so many characters you have to pay attention,well I did because I am so bad at remembering names etc.
Morgana is living a horrible life she was an escort but ends up selling her body to save her family..Her father is in debt and her mother needs medical care,so she is basically forced to sell herself.
But one night fate steps in to change her life forever,the night she meets Vladimir Kislev.
Vlad is the heir to the Russian Mafia,he's a brute of a man,possessive,cruel and calculating and sexy as hell.It doesn't matter he is 18 years older than her and he has a darkness to him that scares her Vlad saves her from being attacked.But now he has leverage on her and she is on his radar as he needs a wife and Morgana would be perfect so he gives her a proposition.
I did love Vlad he has a secret sweet side and his kindness melted my heart,the chemistry between them was so HOT and Morgana's sassy attitude and strength complimented Vlads Possessiveness.
I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to book 2.

A new author to me Cara Bianchi impressed me with this book, which is the start of a new Mafia romance series. There is a lot going on in this story and we meet so many characters you have to pay attention, well I did because I am so bad at remembering names etc. Morgana is living a horrible life, she was an escort but ends up selling her body to save her family. Her father is in debt and her mother needs medical care, so she is basically forced to sell herself. But one night fate steps in to change her life forever, the night she meets Vladimir Kislev. Vlad is the heir to the Russian Mafia, he's a brute of a man, possessive, cruel and calculating and sexy as hell. It doesn't matter he is 18 years older than her and he has a darkness to him that scares her, Vlad saves her from being attacked. But now he has leverage on her and she is on his radar as he needs a wife and Morgana would be perfect, so he gives her a proposition. I did love Vlad, he has a secret sweet side and his kindness melted my heart, the chemistry between them was so HOT and Morgana's sassy attitude and strength complimented Vlad's possessiveness. I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to book 2. Cara Bianchi's writing had me hooked from the start...it was quite the page turner.. Loved it. Brilliant. 5 Stars.- Cat W.

I absolutely devoured this book and loved the slow burn of the story 🔥 this is an enemies to lovers Mafia lead romance....it's dark, sexy, has action and plenty of triggers so please read them at the beginning.
Morgana and Vlad are from two different worlds but oof when their world's collide fireworks go off!!! Vlad is a mafia family man he looks after his own and he will do anything to keep them safe. Morgana has all her life in front of her till her father lost it all for her so now shes not got much going for her but to work for a pimp. When she's thrust into a world she knows nothing about she stands on her own two feet and doesn't bow down for anyone including Vlad!!! What she didn't expect was to fall hard for him and him for her. She was just a pawn in his father's game , someone to marry so he could take over from him and become head of the family.
When the family and Morgana are put in danger Vlad must protect them with all his life he must prove he can be the best leader for the family and fight till the end!! Honestly this had me up half the night wanting to finish it and believe me it came through!!! Yes it's a slow burner but please stick with it because you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this author the spice is off the scale hot and those bedroom scenes wow!!! Please please download this you won't regret it.

What if your mother is sick and needs medication and your father tried to help but only made things worse by getting bigger loans with the wrong people. Ofcourse it goes from bad to worse or so you would think.
Our main girl has had some bad luck with men as in they got very handsy with her. Until Vlad swoops in and plays the hero or so she thinks, that doesn't last long. He's the heir to the russian mafia and he needs a bride before his father dies in order to finally become what he was born and raised for. And she the unlucky girl he takes a liking to. She doesn't have a choice in the matter and gets forced to do his bidding but our girl isn't afraid to speak her mind. She will never be the meek girl those pakhan's normally marry and Vlad falls for her deeper than he ever thought would be possible.
It's beautiful to read about people who overcome trauma's by trusting their hearts by listening and learning. And not just them but their family members aswell. The spice is unbelievable, he likes to remind her who she belongs to and she never knew that what she needed was him being completely obsessed with her but still respecting her boudaries. I'm very excited to see where the second book goes.

💭Vladi is so dreamy!! I loved his character. The hard Bratva leader who treats his women like a Queen. The only person who can make him get on his knees. Morgana is honestly a bada$$. But not in the normal sense. She had her life upended and she took it with grace and made the absolute best of it!! I really enjoyed reading this book.

This book follows Vlad, a Bravtva Prince, who is told by his dying father that in order to become Pakham, he must first marry. He soon meets Morgana. He meets her by saving her from an attack. He, of course, becomes obsessed with her and decides she is the answer to his martial dilemma. Morgana, who is struggling through her own personal and familial crisis, is given no choice but to accept Vlad's "proposal" and become part of his world. Vlad immediately avenges everyone who has ever wronged his soon-to-be wife, causing quite the uproar. She is surprised when she starts to see a different side to the Bratva King, and finds herself questioning her future with him. Vlad, who thought himself incapable of love, is also struggling with feelings he didn't see coming. Especially when Morgana's past and a hidden enemy confronts them both.
I am a sucker for mafia romances, and this one was really good! It is a short steamy read with great banter and undeniable chemistry between the main characters. I also loved the side characters who I hope will get books of their own. The plot was well written and paced, and there was action and suspense that, although somewhat predictable, was still exciting to read.
This was my first book by this author and I will happily read more!

There is a reason that mafia romance books are so popular. That reason is because they are so good! Okay, that might be a little vague, but for me personally, there is something so delicious about a forced relationship/ marriage that usually takes place in the mafia trope. This forced marriage mafia romance was done well and is now one of my favorites! Also, this super handsome model cover was helpful for me in picturing Vlad the mmc because he is of Russian and Italian descent. And our fmc, Morgana is a taller and beautiful red head that was easier to imagine. This is important to know because from it comes her nickname, which I love, btw! This is a slower burn, as the author states in the beginning, but there are a few things that happen that keep you interested and want more! The character and relationship build-up were so good! Finding more about both of their sad and troubled pasts definitely helps you get to know these characters well and gives you something to root for! Most importantly, the spicy scenes were so hot! If you're looking for a mmc that is unhinged and obsessed that will do anything for his woman, then look no further!

I could not put this one down at all. After the first page I was hooked in. This studying defiant woman with a huge heart who had been through so much still had passion and fire inside still managed to defy a possessive alpha male who's just a tad psychotic and very much territorial when it comes to "his" everything. You could see the similarities between them. They tried to fight it and be who they thought they should be instead of being their truest self at first but they both let go and give in to each other. There's a little family drama and outside forces trying to disrupt their lives. There's violence and a few bodies to get cleaned up but don't worry, they had it coming. I'm excited to see future stories in this series. If reading an intense love story is your thing, definitely dive into to this book.

OMG! Wow, this was an astounding book to read, the story was exhilarating and the characters were absolutely sensational. This story was about Morgana and Vlad, Morgana worked as an Escort until her boss was going to pimp her out, she got dressed up and going to the place of meeting until she was abducted. Vlad is waiting to take over the reigns of the Bratva, but his father won't until his married otherwise his uncle David will inherit it. Vlad propositioned her father for her hand in marriage, he told her what was going to happen and give her ten million dollars a year until his father is dead then they can part ways. There was action, danger, violence, killings, enemies, betrayal, lies, twist and turns, secrets, revenge, arranged marriage, lust, pleasure, passion, rough, intense, but could they find love.

This is book 1 of the Angels & Brutes Series by Cara and is full of killing, kidnapping, passion, arranged marriage, secrets and danger. Vlad is a handsome alpha male and possessive billionaire. He pays Morgana's father's debt and then abducts Morgana to be his wife. Vlad is next in line for the Russian Mafia after he is married and his father passes away. Morgana is strong and sassy and stands up to Vlad and he likes this about her. She thinks she always attracts the bad men. Lets see if Vlad is bad or her knight in shining armor. This is a great read with a lot of action and romance.

This man, honestly is the epitome of an alpha male.
He’s possessive, protective and completely obsessed and I am here for it all.
If you’re looking for a heroine with no backbone or bite then this is not the read for you.
Morgana has sass and a strength which was so refreshing to read. She’s feisty and defiant but also selfless especially putting her family and others before herself.
Vlad and Morgana push each other to be better versions of themselves. Their banter was top notch and the chemistry was off the charts as well as all the spice!
I felt like I knew all the characters, they had depth and the storyline was well written and developed.
I absolutely loved everything about this book and can’t wait to see what treats book two holds.

Tropes: Dark romance, Mafia, age-gap, enemies to lovers
Ruined Beauty is surprisingly good! I was hesitant to read it when the author stated that it is a slower burn. I didn't think it was a slow burn for me as it had a good plot. I would say that the slow burn part was getting to the spice but it didn't bother me.
Vlad is hilarious! He is so straight forward and just does what he wants, which is a typical MMC in the mafia romance books that I read. There were several funny moments that I enjoyed reading! I like that the author sprinkled the characters' backstories a little bit at a time.
There is one character that I didn't like. All he did was whine and acted like a man child throwing a temper tantrum because he didn't get what he wanted.
Overall, this was a quick read for me and I enjoyed the story.
