NON CONTENT SPOILER

I actually really enjoyed this book until the miscommunication trope came and one of them decided to humiliate her in front of people and call her a whore and the others watched and did nothing, i just couldn't get past that

🎶 Our secret moments in your crowded room. They got no idea about me and you 🎶

West Archer, Ezekiel Cavanagh, and Xander King (H). The Unholy Trinity all work together perfectly, but lately, something is missing. When they all find a liking towards Lily Sloane (h), they invite her to be with all of them for three months to see if they are compatible and if a relationship could work between them.

─── ・ 。゚☆: THOUGHTS*.☽ .*:☆゚. ───

“Are you Mr. Archer?”

“No. But trust me when I tell you that he won’t mind me signing for his papers.”

“It requires Mr. Archer’s signature,” I reply, my voice surprisingly calm and steady despite my trembling knees.

Considering this is a standalone reverse harem, my expectations were low initially. Am I disappointed? No, this is what I was expecting from a book like this. It was fast-paced, with no real emotional depth and instant love. From the first chapter, they met, and KNEW she was different from other women. In what way? Is it because she rides a bike and is a working-class woman? This felt like billionaire men getting bored with each other and wanting to change it up, so they got a girl to add to the dynamic. They didn't like her because they knew nothing about her besides that she was a humble writer. While they did the background check on her, these men learned everything about her through pre-existing records.

“This club is bursting with hot women. You could take any of these girls home right now,” she says, her voice husky.

“But we’re talking about dinner, and we only want that with you.”

What was so special about her that they wanted her to move in upon agreeing to be with them all? I kid you not; they hired someone to make her believe she had a roach infestation so she could agree to live with them for three months. Keep in mind that they met about 48 hours ago . These are hot billionaire men, so I'm sure she was not even deterred, but it's too fast and unrealistic for the sake of the romance development.

Zeke looks between Xander and me. “So what? We just tell her we want a relationship with her? All three of us? No contract, no boundaries?”

Xander throws his hands in the air. “There’s boundaries in every relationship, Z. Most people don’t feel the need to write them into a fucking twenty-page contract.”

“So we just invite her to dinner tonight and tell her we all want to …”

44 pages in. Imagine my disappointment. She agrees to be with them all as soon as she's there because why wouldn't she? I would, too. However, she comes off as a reserved girl who's naive in the first chapter because she's easily flustered and feels overwhelmed by their attention. However, when it came down to it, she propositioned them and initiated the sex. It was odd and didn't seem like she would do that. Was she ever this bold? The girl left her roommate and moved in with these men overnight. She's insane, and I'm here for it.

“I bet the reality of dating you three means constant blowjobs with minimal return.”

“Actually, Xander and West give incredible blow jobs, so that wouldn’t fall entirely on you,” Zeke replies coolly, and I realize I said that last part out loud.

This is MMFM with sword crossing, but Xander and West were open to adding Lily to their dynamic. Zeke was, too, and was the one to start it all, but he has major trust issues and a tragic backstory, so he doesn't (1) He doesn't like people touching him, (2) He doesn't trust new people easily. Therefore, there was some push and pull and reluctance on his side to accept the situation. All the men are into each other, have known each other for a while, and have a deeper history. Honestly, I don't think Lily was necessary to their dynamic at all. They seemed content with each other, and she sometimes felt like an extra. The three had more chemistry without Lily. Was she truly vital to the relationship? I wouldn’t say so. They could forsure live without her and I don’t believe they loved her. I didn’t get love from this book.

“We fucking cut her loose. We let her go and we discredit her. We make sure that nobody believes a single goddamn word that comes out of her mouth ever again.”

“The launch party tomorrow night. How about we show Lily exactly who she’s fucking with?”

Then they expect her to forgive them when they blindly trust their ex and treat Lily like she is worthless. Humiliating her in front of people who were supposed to be future colleagues. Why? Because they thought she was going to write a story on them. Ask her. Talk to her like adults. These men ain't shit. I'm all for Lily getting her Os, but they humiliated her over a misunderstanding and groveled slightly, and she forgave them because they used their sexual charm. I'm not for this, and these men were not redeemable. Now, Xander was a doormat for allowing West and Zeke to convince him that she was hiding something and needed to humiliate her in public. That's wrong. If Xander knew that Lily couldn't betray them, he should have stood by that. Why is he allowing other men to dictate what he thinks? Was he scared they weren't going to suck his dick anymore? When he just mindlessly agreed and went with it, he became part of the problem and still didn't grovel enough. To make it worse, West turned it back on her and said it was her fault for keeping her identity a secret. He just said that to make himself feel better. He's an asshole, and that man does not deserve Lily.

“Come home, buttercup,” he pleads, yanking my hand closer until the tip of the blade pierces his skin. A drop of deep crimson blood trickles over his pectoral muscle. “Come home or stick this fucking knife in my chest so that I can remember what it feels like to be alive.”

“Are you back, Lily? For good?” Leave it to Xander to ask the question I know we’re all waiting to have answered.

GO FUCK YOURSELF. I am so mad that she seriously thought they were redeemable. These men are the worst, and it doesn’t sit right with me that they were so entitled and felt like they could damage her reputation because a woman could tarnish their reputation. They are true losers, and I don’t care about them. The fact that they actually won her over with sex is a true travesty. IM MAD.

“He was my father, West. You wouldn’t have made it two steps with me. If you hadn’t run when you did, he would have killed you. I can promise you that.”

“I never knew what happened though. Why my father almost killed you that day.”

The random mafia plot line of Lily being a heiress was so weird. One second, she's a girl riding her bike, and the next, her mother turns out to be the head of a mafia organization, and she has a twin brother who turns out not to be her brother at all. Girl? This was not necessary to the book at all. It seemed irrelevant in the scheme of it all. It isn't very sensible. The book had potential, but this is where it lost me. There's no real reason why the book had to stray from the general harem plot to a whole identity crisis for Lily and the men attempting to come to her "rescue" and protect her from her father. It isn't good.

─── ・ 。゚☆: OVERALL *.☽ .*:☆゚. ──

I wouldn't recommend this if you want a book with an actual plot because you won't find that here. Even the romance was tame, and it was mainly smut, which is getting old and repetitive. Especially with the misplaced nicknames that have no meaning to them. What do you mean you call her baby doll, buttercup, and shorty? Bookmen are giving me icks now y'all

90% smut 10% plot (barely) but that’s been most of my experience with this author tbh

Dialogue is cringe as always but you can’t have it all with mmfm I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

Also…fucknuggets??? I should give this 1 star just for that

I actually liked the MMCs for the majority of this book, which is a sentence I rarely write. I say the ‘majority’ because they totally ruined this opinion (at 60%) with all their bizarre behaviour. They were doing so well 🥲

This will contain tiny spoilers, but nothing massive👇

So the story begins with 3 billionaires (classic), who are trying to find a woman open to their certain ‘tastes’. They have gone through a heaping ton of them and can’t seem to find someone that ‘fits’. To be honest, I don’t think their tastes are that extreme, so I don’t get the revolving door of women. (I mean in the land of books, it’s not that extreme. In reality, my opinion changes)

These guys are all in a relationship with each other and I personally would have preferred it to stay that way. They were all so accepting when it came to any issues they each faced and adding in the FMC seemed like a lot of additional work. Also, they are all 38 and she is 24, so the age gap is sizeable.

I did ease into their relationship after a bit, but god did they over compliment her. I fully recognised that they really liked her, but Jesus the amount of smoke blown up this women’s arse was alarming. This is probably a ‘me’ problem because I can’t deal with waves and waves of affection. It gets so tedious.

Also, the spice scenes got a little repetitive.

Along the way, little plot twists seemed to suddenly appear and overcomplicate an already busy story. I DNF at 64%, so I didn’t stay around for the explosion that was bound to happen after one of them. I think this plot twist may have made up the last 30%.

I’m not going to totally ruin the plot, but there is a third-act break-up. This is a standalone though, so I was expecting it. The break-up/ betrayal is rough and the way they try to make it up to her is so weird. It involves a puppy farm.

Also, if you are trying to make it up to a girl, who lives in a small apartment in the city, on her best friend's sofa and is a bike messenger (so is out of the house all day). DO NOT get her a puppy !!!! I think I was the only person in this situation to acknowledge how impractical it was.

My 2 stars are for the start of the book and the 3 stars got lost along the way.

I couldn’t take it anymore. ☹️ I didn’t feel a connection for any of the characters. I could not for the life of me feel that they were actually developing feelings for one another. I just COULD NOT. 😖 Their relationship seemed to just be based on sex. 🙁

This is just my opinion Plz don’t hunt me down, I’m just a girl who is in a severe reading slump.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 🌶🌶🌶🌶/5

TW - sexual assault (past, recounted, incest implied), edibles (past, recounted), groping (non consensual, not by the MCs), drinking, rehab (cocaine addiction, sc, mentioned in passing), scars, closeted sc (because of family, homophobia, incl cheating - implied, arranged marriage), corruption (pension scam, sc), cardiac event (sc, implied), violence against animals (past, mentioned), foster system (mentioned), violence, appendicitis (past, mentioned), light stalking, physical abuse / violence (scs, mentioned, FMC on page not involving MMCs), arranged marriage (past, threatened not executed, incest implied), murder (past, mentioned. on page)

CW - spanking, degradation, hand necklaces / choking, breath play, period play (including red wings), biting, primal play, restraints, CNC, knife play, pain play, blood play, DP

Tropes - reverse harem, dark, billionaires, hidden identity, possessive, jealous, who hurt you?, miscommunication, mile high club, age gap (38M, 36M, 34M, 24F)

Representation - polyamory - MMMF, demisexuality (implied)

This was hot. This romance veers onto the erotica side for me as it is mainly smut with a thread of plot pulling it all together and I really enjoyed it 😅. It is v hot and, as you can tell by my CW, a lot goes down between West (MMC), Zeke (MMC), Xander (MMC) and Lily (FMC).

Lily compliments the guys very well; she is The Perfect Fit for them which is welcomed by the guys who have trialed having a woman in their relationship but never worked out for multiple reasons. Lily takes it in stride and doesn't feel the need to come between the relationship the guys already have with each other.

The main reason why this fell from a 4⭐️ or even 4.5⭐️ rating is because of (you guessed it) the third act breakup 😅. Yes the guys grovelled (not enough) but I found the situation to be very fucking stupid especially because everything was going so well up to that point. For guys that are nearly 40, I could not believe the way they handled that situation but other than that, it was a good read

Scale:
⭐️ - would've DNF'ed / continued out of spite
⭐️⭐️ - shit, but whatever
⭐️⭐️⭐️ - meh, could've been better
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - lit 👅
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - loved it, inject this shit into my veins 🤪

🫑 - no smut
🌶 - no point
🌶🌶 - mediocre at best
🌶🌶🌶 - standard smut, hot
🌶🌶🌶🌶 - 🥵 okay, some CW
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 - fuck me 🥵🥵 CWs / filthy with a side of filth - see Poison / Room Twenty-Two: Hide and Seek/ The Naughty List

This is one of the worst books I’ve read all year and I love RH books. Sadie please riddle me this, why did you make the most cringe worthy FMC of all time. Why did you make her say “fucknuggets” instead of just fuck? Why would you do this because tbh just that ruined this book, well along with many other things…

Another amazing book from Sadie Kincaid!! She really outdid herself with The Perfect Fit. I absolutely loved it!! This book was so fun and spicy. I love Lily and all her men. Xander, Zeke and West were the perfect book boyfriends. If you love reverse harems with tons of spice and MM, then this is a must read! I hope we get more of this group in the future!!

Holy mother effing shit!
4.4/5⭐️
5/5🌶️

Billionaire, MMMF, contract/ 3 month trial relationship.
Our three MMCs have been trying to find a woman to join their relationship and situation for a long time. They usually have a contract drawn up and offer the woman 3 months to trial the dynamics and if they all fit.

They’re about to give up, when they all bump into our FMC at separate times, outside/ inside their building.
They make her an offer.
Their dynamic was written really well, and bloody hell the spice was spicing. The audio had me blushing, I was in the supermarket trying to buy food and had to pretend I wasn’t listening to mind blowing spice…the poker face was in place.

There is also a bit of a mafia sub plot near the end, which I didn’t know was coming. So that was fun but a little bit random haha. But I enjoyed it.
I loved the hurt/comfort moments. Overall, I ate this book up!

*audiobook

Literally zero character development.

This would have been hotter if the characters were more than surface level.

Also, although i like the little bit of grovel there was, I wish there were MORE grovel.

I especially love when zeke offered himself to be stabbed by her. That's some good shit right there. More books need that type of desperate grovel. I love a man begging on his knees, willing to get hurt. Makes me wet, not gonna lie.

Great potential, but it went PLOP. And it is mostly due to the lack of depth into the characters, all of them, including the fmc lol.

Also, this may be me nitpicking, lol but the fmc's best friend was tricked into going home with a guy who told her he was some famous movie star, but turned out he was not, and when they found out, the fmc praised her best friend for not breaking up with him and saying her best friend isn't "shallow..."

Um, im pretty sure ending it with a guy who lied to you about who he is, in order to get sex with you is considered CAREFUL, not "shallow" but okay then...

Leave that liar!!!

This is not really a book. This is a collection of short sex scenes between people with zero personality held loosely together by a convoluted, paper thin plot.

If you just want to read smut, this is probably a perfect book for you. I think there were 5 chapters in the whole book that weren’t smutty. If you are like me and like a good balance of plot to smut as you want to connect with characters and root for someone, you will not enjoy this.

This book was really good, until it wasn't.
When the miscommunication trope (HATE THAT SHIT) came into play and the three MMC's decided to publicly humiliate the FMC and completely cut her off with no explanation or remorse... no amount of grovelling could bring me back onboard at that point. Especially with the way it all played out. They automatically take the word of their jealous, conniving, weirdo ex girlfriend without speaking to the FMC, or even doing any of their own digging to prove or disprove what this bitch was saying. The only one of the three of them who defended and believed in the FMC was Xander, but then he stood back and let the other two publicly humiliate her and break her heart, even though he knew he was wrong. Absolutely not. BYE.
The smut was hot though, so that's a plus.

*minor trope spoiler ahead* the plot was a little bit boring to me at times and the miscommunication was not it for me. definietly something I don’t like in books and I don’t really think I forgave them 😅
also, we're introduced to her VERY BEST friend in the beginning and then she never gets mentioned again in the last 70% of the book ...

*small spoiler ahead*

I wasn’t really a fan of the sudden mafia aspect of this book, so that kinda annoyed me. I didn’t go into the book wanting a mafia romance. it didn’t take up much, but it was still there ://

This is a stand-alone RH book with MM in it, age gap, and a “betrayal / grovel” moment. This wasn't bad. It was forgettable for me, and wasn't anything special. But I did like the angst, and a lot of people would probably enjoy it.

The heroine is fresh out of college, and she’s working as a bike messenger in NYC. The heroes are 3 rich guys (like 10-15 years older than her) who sleep with each other, but they’re also looking for a girlfriend to share. They’ve gone through “trial runs” with many women, but nobody has worked out...until they meet the heroine.

Towards the middle and end of this story, they believe their ex-girlfriend when she tells them something bad about the heroine. They publicly humiliate the heroine, then realize they were wrong, and grovel. The grovel was semi-satisfying. They didn’t just say “sorry,” they actually did do several actions to back up their words and try to right their wrong. And, I appreciated how the heroine did push them away a few times, and didn’t take them back immediately, as soon as they apologized. (But, it still did feel like she took them back too easily).

Why 3 stars? It might have been a case of “it’s me, not the book,” but the characters didn’t grab me. I didn’t dislike them, they were fine, I just didn't feel invested in them. For whatever reason, this story didn't draw me in and make me care. I just finished it, and I've already forgotten their names. They didn't stand out, or stick in my mind.

Also, the end of this book has some overly complicated “secret parent” type of reveals that made the plot make a lot less sense.

Like, it’s revealed that

This book was average and forgettable, for me. But, it wasn't bad overall, and if you’re in the mood for a standalone RH with MM in it, and a “betrayal / grovel” moment, it may hit the spot.

*lowering this to 2 stars bc i just remembered how bad it was lmao*
more like 2.5. idk what to say. i enjoyed this? i think? the spice was great, and I love a good reverse harem, but almost everything else was cringe. first, it was so tropey. why the mafia boss's daughter plotline??? and the faked death??? gratuitous and silly. also, the pet names made me cringe. babydoll and buttercup especially. why. just why.
OH!!!! I ALMOST FORGOT THE WORST PART!!! when zeke literally tells lily that she has to either take him back or STAB him????? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. so toxic and abusive and it just got completely glossed over. anyway.
despite these major grievances, if you are able to overlook the faults of this book, it's a sexy, angsty time!
gawd why can I never find the perfect erotica
