Everyone warns you that it isn't safe when you step into this life.
Danger lurks in every corner, and I’m constantly looking over my shoulder to see what will happen next. The villain in our story is supposed to be a protector, a father. But all he does is bring sorrow to his son, and he tried to take three important people from our lives. Will the villain succeed in his devious plot? Or will his son make the biggest mistake by leaving Abbs Valley behind to protect us?
My guys are fighting like hell to protect me. But who’s protecting them?
This villain underestimated me as the weak spot. He doesn’t understand that I’ll lay my life down for my guys, my family. It’s up to me to hold it all together. He doesn’t know that I’m the heart of these psychos.
Game on, bitches.
**The Heart of Psychos Part two is part of a duet. It’s a #whychoose/polyamorous romance meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This book also contains male/male content and relationships. It's intended for audiences 18+. It is a continuation of the Abbs Valley series and can be read as a stand-alone (with spoilers for the previous books). Be sure to check the content/trigger warnings at the beginning of the book.
When I tell you I cried at the end (author notes) because this is the last one for a while in Abbs Valley I’m not kidding 🥹😭 This was my fav harem out of all of them & that’s saying A LOT because I’m obsessed with Les! The spice was top tier like always with Ames. This one didn’t have as many bi awakenings most of them knew they dabbled with men, but it didn’t make it any less spicy 🥵 I can’t scream enough about these books! They are beyond anything I could ever imagine. Mafia reverse harem with MM there’s nothing that tops this series!!
Ames I’m worshipping the ground you walk on at this point 🧎🏻♀️
She’s done it AGAIN!! This is the 7th book in the Abbs Valley world and they’ve all just kept getting better!! This is a mafia why choose with ⚔️ story that follows Bridget, Ghost, Caden, Alexey, Dmitri, Banger and Nikolay. The first part ended in devastation but have no fear our fearless leader has made everything better! This is an absolute beautiful story and an ending (only for now I hope) to a wonderful world she has created. Her spice is unmatched and the best I’ve ever read! It’s so hard to say goodbye to these characters when you’ve grown so attached. One of my favorite things about these books is that all the characters are so intertwined within each story. You get to see each and every one of the characters grow and change from each duet. If I can convince you to read one series and one author let it be this one! We read to feel and she makes you have all the feels! Thank you Ames for writing some of the best books EVER!!
Retaliation. That’s what Ghost faces when his own family hurts his made family. Especially when Bridget is caught in the cross fire. Getting lost in his own headspace he makes a choice, to stop the chaos, for if he doesn’t, it will swallow him whole. But when his attempt is thwarted, he now has to reap the actions of his consequences.
Caden is in dark place, his choices were taken away from him, put is a position, he chose to protect Bridget, and he wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. The only people Caden can tolerate is Noah and Ghost. Emotions are running high but they find an outlet to focus on, to bring them together in their time of need.
Nikolay’s feelings towards Bridget are manifesting into something more. He wants more with her, and is beginning to accept the dynamics of her unconventional relationship with Alexey, Dmitri, Ghost, Caden and Banger. Because it is here that he finds that Ghost responds to him on a level that allows Ghost to be who he is out of fear or reprisal, it unlocks a part of Ghost, allowing him to feel wanted, needed, accepted, but more-so loved.
Family her is very important to all of them. During a dinner, Bridget introduces her boyfriends to her mom. Her mom is taken aback. It is not a life her mom wanted for her, but her guys make her happy, and they happily explain to her mom their situation and circumstances allowing Bridget’s mom to get a better understanding of what and who they are, and that they would protect Bridget from any harm with their own life.
Which leads to Nikolay having a conversation with his brother about his relationship with Bridget and Ghost, and that he won’t be returning to the family fold. Because he is where he is meant to be with his family. Then that very awkward yet open minded conversation with their mom, alleviating any worry he may have had, because all a mother would ever want is for there children to be happy, safe and loved and accepted for who they are.
And they finally get their man Tink and Ghosts brother Gavin. They get their answers which leads to more questions and what part Ghosts sister Gemma plays in all of this. Which leads them to put into action there plan, leaving Bridget in the dark, as painful as Ghost’s words are to her, Bridget holds out hope, and when a letter makes there intentions clear, boy are her guys in trouble and are in for a lot of grovelling.
It all finally comes to a head. Ghost’s dad Grant gets his comeuppance, his sister Gemma’s pays for her betrayal, Gavin remains where he is working to make amends through his charitable foundation. And Ghost gets to live his life his way without the burden of his past and that of his own family, for he now has the freedom to love without prejudice.
And that scene where Caden, Alexey, Dmitri, Banger, Nikolay and Ghost propose to Bridget, had all the love and feels you could possibly want. Each of them expressing their love to their girl, what she gives to them individually, loving them unconditionally flaws and all, accepting them as a whole, is nothing short of amazing and beautiful and one she and they wouldn’t change for the world.
But that HEA, it was bittersweet as it was magical, and one couldn’t have asked for a better ending than that.
P.S. Let’s talk about those blazing hot bedroom scenes. The dynamics between Alexey, Dimitri and Bridget. Ghost, Caden and Bridget. Ghost, Caden and Alexey. Ghost, Nikolay and Bridget. Ghost and Bridget. Caden and Bridget. Banger and Bridget. Nikolay and Bridget. And those group scenes were as what the author had stated.
With Bridget, there possessiveness and obsessive need for control and dominance, there foreplay it was off the charts. There need for her and each other was possessive, wicked and depraved, She own’s their heart as they own hers heart, mind and body. Those s*x scenes were blazing hot, downright dirty and physical, it had all the pleasure and passion one would expect for they will be all that Bridget will need for they will always get what they want, each giving the other pain and pleasure, they deserve.
This book has it all romance, six possessive dominant alpha males, one sassy female who knows what she wants and isn’t shy on how she goes about getting it and gives as good as she gets, touch him/ her and die vibes, family and friend dynamics, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, defiance, manipulation, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists and truths.
Because in the end, she is the heart of these much loves psychos!
I received an ARC, therefore am leaving a voluntary review.
I received this book as an ARC and would have finished it in one day if I didn’t have to plan a birthday party but… THIS BOOK! 😍 It’s the first ARC I have ever received and was SO EXCITED when I received the email!!! After Part 1’s cliffhanger… Part 2 definitely came through! Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Plot/Characters ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been hooked on Abbs Valley since the first chapter of Riches to Riches Part 1. I’m going to have a hard time letting go of all of these characters, but I’m so excited how this book leads to a series starting with The Saviors! I love that this book, like the others, has a strong FMC and amazing MMCs. Ames Mills’ writing is amazing and keeps you sucked in! Definitely check the triggers if you are a reader that has triggers, especially if you haven’t read Part 1, but READ THIS BOOK (and the rest in this series)!!!!!!!
All hail the queen of RH/why choose/poly romance!! If you’re new here, stop what you’re doing right now, put down your current read and go download the first book in this series immediately. I’m serious. Also go ahead and clear your schedule, probably call in sick to work. You’re not gonna want to stop until you finish the entire series. Trust me on this. To say I’m obsessed with this series would be a huge understatement. If you’re already caught up, then get ready, because Ames brought her A game to this one. It’s so freaking good! She does such a great job of bringing these characters to life for us. Ghost, Caden, Nik, Bridget, Banger, Lex and D the relationship between them is so beautiful. Now on to the spicy scenes. I would like to personally thank Ames for chapter 25, it will forever live rent free in my head. Also chapter 15. Also chapter 11, which unlocked a new kink for me, who knew guys in masks were hot? Throughout this series Gage has been my number one guy, but I think Caden may have knocked him out of the top spot with this book. This book was a great end(hopefully not forever) to Abbs Valley. I will miss all the guys and their leading ladies.
*ARC Review* I am so sad that the Abbs Valley world has come to an end (for now). But holy crap, what a wild, crazy, amazing ride it has been!
This book was the perfect conclusion to this series. We’ve seen almost all of these characters since the very beginning in Riches to Riches, and it was so great to finally see everything fall into place for them. My heart was literally broken after Part One, but Ames more than made up for the heartbreak with this book. That doesn’t mean there still wasn’t hella drama and action in this one too, though!
As always, the spice was just 😙👌🏼 *chefs kiss*. The chemistry between this group has always been so steamy. It was amazing to see all of the new (and old) relationships grow and thrive throughout this book. There should really be a page at the beginning dedicated to warning the readers to keep a vibrator (or SO) near and an extra pair of panties on standby 😂😏
Through all of the tears, screams of outrage, the blatant anger, (the orgasms), and the heartbreak, there were still so so many laughs. This group has some of the best personalities, and while much of this book (and series) is very serious and contains hella dark content, Ames and the characters are still able to have me cackling away.
The personal growth each of these characters achieve is so admirable. Throughout their journey (some we’ve witnessed from the very beginning of the Abbs Valley series), this group has gone through so much trauma, yet they are able to fights their demons and grow and love one another in the process. Whether they are battling addiction, mental health issues, PTSD, past child abuse, you name it - they all manage to better themselves and establish one badass family in the process.
Of course, it has been exciting getting a sneak-peak into some of the dynamics of The Saviors throughout the series, and I am so excited to see what Ames has in store for Daddy Axel and his crew!
Ames, you did it again - you knocked it out of the park. And as we all know, Ames is actually the true heart of all these Abbs Valley psychos 😉
at the end i was skipping a lot of scenes but yeah i finished was a fun interesting series nothing out of this world, bridget was my fave girl but i do like les a lot, the guys were also a good surprise i liked them but yeah it was more for the smt soo haha
This was a really good ending to wrap up The Abbs Valley world. Starting with Riches to Riches and ending here it was a wild ride. This was a smutty hot book! Lots of sex, MF/MMMF/MMMMFM/MMMM. And it was written very well. This family loved each other and you could just read how much. Bridget was perfect for them. With her sassy attitude but her sweetness when they needed it. Riches to Riches sat in my library forever. So glad I gave this a chance. Can’t wait for her other books about The Saviors to come out
The nicknames are so bad. It’s the only thing I hate about these books. That, and the spicy positions they get into. So many times I have to stop and think way too much about who put what in where and is that even possible. Otherwise I enjoy her books immensely.
Let me just start by applauding Ames Mills on yet another beautifully written book. I am always awestruck by her stories and the characters she creates, and am always able to immerse my self in the Abbs Valley world and engage the whole way through. She truly is an amazing author!!
If you're this far into the Abbs Valley series, then you know what to expect from Ames Mills.. well shes just gone and topped herself because THIS.WAS.EVERYTHING 👏👏
One of the things I love about this series and the way Ames writes, is the character growth. She knows how to develop these characters as time goes on. Not only the ones in the current story, but the ones from previous books that always pop back in.
The Heart of Psychos part two continues on from where we left off in part one.. with the most heartbreaking clifford ever 😭!! (IYKYK😑). We follow Bridget, Banger, Caden, Ghost, Alexey, Dmitri, and Nikolay as they navigate their way through the trauma and betrayal they were left with within their little family.
Caden had so much to overcome in this book, Ghost was struggling to find his worth and his place within their family, Dmitri pushed through his trauma of the past, Alexey had so much growth, learning to take a step back a little and forgive, My boy Banger shined brighter in this book and I was here for it 🥰, and Daddy Nik!! came out to play, and it was 🙌 chefs kiss 👌🥵.
This book was filled with all the feels! Drama, action, trauma, addiction, humour, love, twists and turns, major growth, and, of course, all the steamy smexy times we love!! The spice was hotter than an inferno.. and I was ready to get burned 🔥🔥🥵🥵
Everytime Ames puts something new out, I claim it as my favourite, and this is no different!! My love for tHOP is insane, and I've enjoyed every moment of it.
If you havent read this series than chop chop 👏👏 get to it!! You need to read it because its just.. everything 🥰🖤🖤
I'm so sad to say goodbye.. for now.. to Abbs Valley, but I'm soo excited to march onwards to The Saviors .. and you'll want it all!! 👶😋🍆🧎♀️ | 🧎♀️😋🍆🧸 | 🧸😋🍆👶 🔺️...😏😉😉
I would start by saying ladies and gentlemen buckle up for one of the best Ames Mills books so far, but let’s be real if you’ve read the Abbs Valley series up until this point you’re no lady or gentleman! Just make sure your battery operated friends are there to read along with you!
As usual check your trigger warnings but if you’re like me, you generally use that as a checklist to make sure this book is going to meet all of your smut needs! This whole series is amazing with spice, and plenty of sword fighting if you catch my drift! ⚔️ Plus we all love when dominant men get dominated 😉
Part 2 of Heart of Psychos is the best ending ( but maybe this isn’t the end?) for the Abbs Valley crew that has been building with each great story. After the cliff hanger in the Part 1 book we thought it couldn’t get worse. You know when you say “what else could go wrong?” And suddenly more goes wrong! That is exactly what happens to Bridget and her Men in this book!
I found myself screaming, crying, cheering, one handed reading 😏, and every emotion in between! I will forever love the storyline finishing up cleanly with resolutions and the characters continuing to evolve.
I will say Ghost is hands down my favorite of this RH as he shows so much growth and his story is heart breaking. However D, Lex, Nik, Caden, and Banger are all extremely swoon and drool worthy too! My only smutty wish missing from this book is that Banger participates in a sword fight in the near future!
Bridget is so awesome in this book and I’m glad to see her take on more of a bada** female character instead of a damsel in distress feeling! She loves her men and damn do they love her.
Five stars is never enough for an Ames Mills book but I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ !
So, book one ended on quite a cliffy (understatement of my life). Ames ripped our hearts out and spread it around all over Abbs Valley. Now, I love a good cliffhanger, but after my blood pressure came back down, I was demanding for it to be fixed. And while I was devastated and broken for a short period of time, Ames comes through, as she always does and brings us an epic conclusion to our time with Ghost, Bridget, Caden, Lex, Dmitri, Banger and Nik.
The Heart of Psychos pt 2 starts off right where we ended as we wait with our stomach in knots for news on our girl and boys. This second installment was everything I needed it to be and more. There is a compelling conclusion to the storyline, we feel all of the emotions as we heal, recover and ultimately seek revenge, we visit with old characters (here's looking at you Holden) and we get the smuttiest smut that only Ames can deliver.
Pretty quickly into the first part of this duet, I fell in love with this group of characters. And while I love all of my friends from Abbs Valley, these guys currently have my heart and this second half just put their ranking at number one into a solid position for a while.
I’m wobbling on my rating… likely bc I have loved the other books in this series.
This one felt off to me.
The connection between the (reverse) harem and how they met seemed piecemealed. It felt haphazardly put together… but… whatever… that’s how the lives of these characters works.
But FFS! The “baby love” and other subsequent cringeworthy nicknames/pet names were AWFUL!!! And you get that dumpster fire OFTEN in this book. It could be midway through a super hot sexy scene and “Baby Love” came out… and if I had a peen, I’d classify it as a ‘boner killer’. Womp womp!
That said, it was a good plot. The ending was WAY too fast.
I feel like there was still some grammatical errors etc in this book as some parts I had to re read to understand what was going on.
After that cliffhanger I really wanted there to be a lot of dramatics in this book, which we did get for the most part. The whole Tink situation was dramatic and I loved it. The twist with Gavin was great also. I was disappointed by Grants ending and felt it was a bit anti climactic after the whole of this duet was based around him and his threats.
I felt again this was eerily similar to the last 2 duets HOWEVER I am over the moon we finally got one RH where one of the guys didn’t suddenly join in with the other guys! Thank god for Banger!
I loved Caden and Bridget’s relationship before they all got together. They’re both goofy and talk shit and gossip. It was interesting seeing that he was bi curious but only for Bridget and the fact the other guys helped him out was adorable. It was also awesome to see the twins with Bridget again and Dimitri explaining how to properly do breath play with Alexey.
Still not feeling that they’re all psychos though as the title suggests, they just like to torture and fuck things up gangbanger style. I feel Les’ guys are my psycho than these guys.
The character growth for each character was great. Caden getting over his drug addiction a second time was handled really well.
I felt there was a repeat of the Zane/Ryder dynamic with Ghost/Nik which is clearly shows the author has found a pattern she likes and is sticking to it.
I suppose the only big glaring difference is Bridget could actually get pregnant unlike the other 2 but didn’t, maybe we will see this in a short novella for this group?
I’m actually excited for the Axel duet set in a new town but I’ll wait until both parts are out because I can’t deal with these cliffhangers and not immediately dive into the next book.
The smut once again was on another level and was super hot.
Edited to add - those cutesy nicknames actually made me feel a bit yucky. Baby love just didn’t do it for me and I just rolled my eyes every time I read it
Whisk this was a good read. I felt it was kinda drawn out in some places and rushed in others. But I still like it. Only reason for the low rating was because of that ending. The emotional pain they caused Bridget was literally overlooked. Everybody knew the plan and they could’ve warned her instead of hurting her the way they did. And it’s not even mentioned just they did it and then they just moved on.
Forced myself to finish this one. Each duet is basically the same premise. Very little plot with a bad guy, multiple men that are clones of the previous book. One has a cock piercing, one need dominating, one is a bit crazy, one doesnt want to join in but does anyway plus 2 others that I kinda forget about. I want to read the Saviours, but I'm worried it'll be the same all over again
Essential context for the rest of this review: I accidentally started with this author on her 4th duet (The Saviors: Part One), which she *said* was the start of a new series, but I call bullshit. It is so heavily connected to this Abbs Valley series that it just barely stands on its own. Either way, I really enjoyed that duet and it made me want to read about all of the side characters, which is what I did. So, now we're here with the "finale" of the Abbs Valley series.
I loved The Saviors Duet when I read it, but I did see a lot of reviews that weren't overly positive and I was a little puzzled by that, but now I'm understanding. This author seems to only be writing one story multiple times, but with characters of different names. By that I mean all of her duets are exactly the same. At first it just felt formulaic, but it's not even that, which would be fine. It's that they are all THE. SAME. STORY. There's very little variation and we're definitely in one of those "too much of a good thing" situations now. I loved The Saviors because I thought it was different, but now I'm realizing it's just the only story that this author tells, so if I had been reading in order, I would've been annoyed.
But aside from that issue above, which is really too big of an issue to tackle here, let's talk about the other big issues in the specific duet.
One of those issues is that I didn't believe in the romance here. No one really seemed to fit together and I wasn't understanding the chemistry they all supposedly were having with each other. It was like she just really wanted these characters to be together because they fit her formula, so she was forcing them together. Which.. ok. But it wasn't working for me. Bridget's character in general didn't work for me. You could've literally plucked her out of the story and it would've been just fine. She added nothing. Even if you consider that the entire poly group was supposed to be based around her, she still could've been plucked out. I liked that she was sassy and unapologetically herself, but her relationship with each guy wasn't making any sense. There was NO chemistry and I don't understand.
We also have Ghost, Alexey, and Dmitri that were problems for me. These are characters that we really got to know in other duets but in this one they seemed like completely different people. Ghost especially was someone I barely recognized and his relationship with Nik was not something I was enjoying - Not because I don't enjoy reading that type of relationship, but because it didn't feel believable here. The characters were all just wildly inconsistent and I hated it. Also I just absolutely hated Les (from Riches to Riches) in this story, which pissed me off at the author. Ames Mills is just juggling too many characters and I feel like she's having a hard time keeping them all true to their original character and weave them into the stories.
The main conflict also frustrated me. There wasn't enough material here for the author to work with, so instead of fleshing out a better conflict and antagonist, she just added more sex scenes. I mean, all of the books in this series are spicy and have a lot of smut, but this book was particularly smut over plot. Maybe if I enjoyed this poly group more than I would've been cool with that, but I didn't, so I wasn't.
And good lord, if I have to read one more flippin' nickname I'm going to explode. This is something that I've mentioned in every review, because I really dislike it. We're having to juggle 15+ nicknames from different characters for different characters in every duet and it's so annoying. Also some of the nicknames make me cringe so hard. "Baby love"? STOP IT RIGHT NOW. No. If the nicknames made any sense, then I'd be fine with it, I'm not against a cute nickname, but these make no sense. They just exist to exist with no purpose.
So overall? I don't know. This almost felt rushed? And almost felt like Ames Mills was ready to move onto another series, but had to finish this one first so she did the bare minimum? I don't know and I'm disappointed because I was so looking forward to these specific characters. I truly did like The Saviors and I even liked Riches to Riches a lot, but then they just get boring after that because the author isn't doing anything new. It's one thing to be formulaic and another thing to write the same story multiple times. I'm 100% not writing this author off yet, because I do love pieces of her stories and her found family themes are so good. I just need her to write some variety in her stories.
Ames Mills could write a book as long and as boring as a phone book and I’d RUSH to get my hands on it and binge it in one sitting — that’s how much I love Ames! When I started reading the Abbs Valley series, I honestly didn’t know what I getting into. I love a bad boy-mafia/gang member-RH type of story and this hit every. single. one. of. these things and MORE! “Heart of Psychos” is the LONG awaited story between Les’s friend, Bridget, the Russian Terror Twins, and some sexy gang members and leaders. We meet them in Book 1 of the series and continue to learn more and more as we go and the fact that this is conclusion of this world is a big bummer — but I loved it all the same!❤️🔥🫶🏼
Part 2 of the “Heart of Psychos” duet was the PERFECT way to end the Abbs Valley universe. Book 1 left us hanging on a MASSIVE cliffhanger that made me clutch my heart and audibly gasp, and THANK GOD I binged the duet together or I wouldn’t have made it waiting for Book 2 — I recommend binging the duet back to back if you can because the end of the first book just leaves you a mess. — I mean, y’all know what i’m talking about here 🤣 I don’t want to get too much into the plot because I don’t want to give anything away but I WILL SAY is that Bridget, our FMC, and her band of men went THROUGH IT! They had to work through addiction issues, emotional issues, familial issues, gang issues… basically a shit storm all around. They do have Les, Evie and the 12 other bad ass men to help support and bring them through this hell they’re living. But don’t worry — just like Les and Evie, Bridget gets her HEA too that is so heart warming, so definitely teared up!
This book is SO SPICY it’ll make your head spin and your heart race! 🥵 If you’re not a fan of polyamorous/why choose types of romances, I’d run for the hills because with seven people (THATS RIGHT 7!) you kinda gotta be on board. Each of Bridget’s men are all uniquely them and SO dreamy 🖤 It is a quick read, well written, SO engaging and made me laugh and cry for 700+ pages. I recommend this duet (and the other two duets) for those of us who love a healthy does of violence with our why choose relationships that are full of love and light.
For starters I just want to say that I’m a very opinionated person so please do not let what I’m about to say affect wether or not you want to read this duet🫶🏼.
Okay. Where do I begin. I would like to point out that truthfully…I could not differentiate the main male characters between each other for shit, except for Caden😭like im so sorry but the guys were all kind of…bland? Basic? Idk. I was expecting more ESPECIALLY from the “terror twins” that we heard so much about in Alessas books. Only for it to have been a disappointment☹️
I was so excited and looking forward to this duet after finishing Alessas books so when I finally started reading it, I immediately didn’t really like Bridget (I really tried liking her but I couldn’t stand her😭) and the only ML that had personality was Caden🏃🏻♀️
the main Male lead characters Ghost, Alexey, Dmetry(I think that’s how you spell it💀), Banger, and Nikolay all kind of lacked…Something.
I cannot stress this enough when I say I genuinely struggled, trying to find their personalities. The only one who stood out was Caden and that’s bc he was kind of similar to Gage. A mmc in Alessas Books. Alex and D literally had no significant qualities to them other than the fact that they were possessive. Ppl called them the terror twins and honestly they were literally just like all the other guys.💀Ghost, Banger, and Nikolay were all Practically the same😭
That aside the plot wasn’t that bad. But for some reason it couldn’t really keep my attention. I was bored throughout most of this duet ngl and I debated skipping it quiet afew times. Which I did end up doing after halfway finishing book 1 In this duet. But after finding some things out in book 2 when I jumped straight into that one after skipping book 1, I decided to go back out of sheer curiosity.
The spice was amazing tho. Saving Grace for that bit. But honestly I was really hoping for more out of this duet😭that aside the dynamics though were cute🫶🏼Alexey and Caden were for sure my favorite
Now this duet is probably the most well written out of the lot and I honestly can’t think of any writing mistakes like with the previous ones. This duet is darker than the previous two so please check Trigger Warnings.
Now this follows Bridget who you meet in the first duet and get a closer introduction to her in the second duet where you also find out her first love interests who are Alexey and Dimitri (Lex and D) who are twins “Terror Twins” as people call them. Again they do not have anything between them at all.
Bridget spends the night with them and they quickly become obsessed with her and are not willing to let her go, they send her flowers and gifts and do everything to protect her.
The story also begins with Ghost who forms a relationship with Caden, who is best friends with Bridget. Bridget being the first woman who Caden has ever found attractive, this then develops further with Ghost joining in. Banger who is part of the crew also wishes to be in Bridget’s life but he doesn’t do anything with the other men but likes to watch ;) In comes Nik who is cautious of his attraction to Bridget as he doesn’t want to step on anyone’s toes. Now the plot!
I LOVED the plot, it honestly was the best one out of the three, it was so interesting and had plenty of twists and turns to keep me interested from the beginning to end!
The plot begins with a rival gang causing issues for everyone which then you find out that it’s connected to someone else from one of the character’s pasts, the different plot twists were really good in my opinion and to me weren’t predictable. I did tear up at one point because of what some of the characters had to go through because of the enemy but the way each person helped each other in different ways was so heartwarming.
I wish that Banger was more involved and I felt as if he was a little left out and wasn’t too memorable of a character honestly. But Bridget was such a great character! Her and Caden had such a good friendship as well as a romantic relationship, their quick wit and funny comebacks made the book so much better.
Did someone ask for like 6 M’s and an F? And 5 of those M’s are together as well as with the F? 🥵The Heart of Psycho’s Part 2 by Ames Mills releases on 4/24!
*Blurb* Everyone warns you that it isn't safe when you step into this life.
This was the perfect ending to this duet! I couldn’t put it down. Once you start reading you’re drawn into this world. The characters are so damn lovable. 🖤 If I had to choose a favorite it would have to be Caden! I loved the evolution in his character. Also Ghost, his character evolution was perfect. This book pulled at my heart strings in a few scenes. I enjoyed every second of it. The plot was phenomenal!! And let’s not forget the SPICE. 🥵 Ames is like the spice queen I swear. If you like MM action you’ll LOVE this. So many peens. 🍆 Bridget, our FMC, is a fiery red head. She’s strong enough to handle these 6 psycho men. This is a must read if you want plot and spice!!

After the cliffhanger that part one ended on (had my heart crying for Caden), I was eagerly awaiting part two and it did not disappoint!
The connection between each of these characters is enviable and Ames Mills has a talent for writing these relationships in a way that makes them feel real and unbreakable even when the characters have moments of doubt.
The plot was strong and didn’t feel like it dragged on longer than it should and I loved the friendships between these characters and the ones from the previous duets and how they are like on big family.
How this author manages to make every 🔥 scene unique and different and not monotonous to read is a wonder. These guys were on fire 🔥🔥 and the chemistry between them all is scorching 🥵. One thing I love about the books in this series but especially this one is that even though Bridget is the main focus, the relationships that develop between the guys don’t feel weaker or secondary but just as meaningful and strong as each of their relationships with Bridget.
I generally don’t read books that have twins in it that share people (being a twin myself) so it’s not really my thing but I knew this book would be incredible and I just had to find out the resolution of the conflicts that ran parallel with the last duet. Chalk this up as another success for Ames Mills and I can’t wait for what comes next! 😍❤️
# I was given a copy to read and this is my honest and unbiased opinion.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I absolutely love this duet! It was the perfect ending for such a fantastic series ❤️ I love that it picks up right where part one left off, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! Such an exciting book! The chemistry between each of the characters was SO GOOD🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I really enjoyed how the relationships evolved and grew, it was incredibly beautiful to read. There was so much that happened in this book! I got really pulled into the story and I could NOT put it down! This group is so awesome and fun together, you really feel their love for each other in how they all come together and are supporting in each other. Don’t get me wrong, there is definitely some drama and angst but that’s what makes it SO GOOD! I loved thei interactions with the other groups from Abbs Valley, it was such a treat how involved they are. There are definitely some bumps in the road to their HEA but the way they all worked together and supported each other was so special to read Bridget is probably my favorite FMC ever. I just love her spark and she is just so fun! I love all the guys so much, it’s too hard to pick a favorite. I love the relationships and how each one is so unique and how they all are just meant to be. 🔥 The group scenes were absolute GOLD! I love this group with my whole heart! I can’t wait to see what’s next from Ames Mills
I am soooo sad this in the end of Abbs Valley!!! What am I gonna do now 😞😞😞!! Of course I can move on to the saviors because I am very curious about Mr. Axel but only part one is out and I know that cliffhanger is going to punch me in the gut!! A round of applause for Ms. Ames Mills because this series was everything to me and is officially apart of my DNA! Like it is engraved in my heart and soul!
My love for Caden has officially been cemented with this book like that js my baby I would do anything for him!! I love him!! Ghost was pissing me off but I’m glad he finally got it together with the help of Nik! If I’m being honest I wasn’t sure how I would feel about nik but I enjoyed the roll he played in their dynamic. Of course Alexey that is my other baby and I love his relationship with Caden and even ghost!! Like I said previously I honestly felt like banger was very much in the background but all in all I love Bridget and her men.
I am so sad to see them go!!! My debit card isn’t going to like it but I need to buy every book in the series and display them on my bookshelf!! Ames mills needs her own shelf dedicated to just her books because I am on my knees for her and will FOREVER READ ANYTHING THAT SHE WRITES!! i can’t wait to move onto the forest grove series and learn more about the saviors!! Also her stand alone series “for the love of Kane” which is MMMM I am too excited to get to that
Abbs Valley has literally become one of my top five favorite worlds I've ever read. Ames Mills is such a remarkable author that when I pick up one of her books, I know I'm in for the emotional ride of my life.
Bridget and her guys were no different. The amount of chemistry she shares with Lex, D, Caden, Ghost, Banger and Nik is off the charts drool-worthy. After the cliff-hanger in Part 1, we pick up right where it left off with so much stacked against them. But they pull together as a family and get the revenge and justice they deserve. I love that I can always count on the exact amount of torture and blood shed that is needed to satisfy my anger for what has been done to these characters that I love so much. The fun times that follow are so hot and steamy, you'll be begging for more.
Ames is the kind of author who makes you feel every word and every emotion right alongside the characters. You feel like you are walking right beside them and are a part of their journey. You feel all the growth and relationship building Bridget and her guys went through. And you certainly feel all the love and connection they have with one another. As sad as I am to say goodbye to Abbs Valley, I am certainly looking forward to what's in store for me with the Saviors and their crew.
