Scroope Tomb, Langar church

A black and white marble tomb to Thomas, Lord Scroope of Bolton K.G (d. 1609) and Philadelphia his wife (d. 1627), daughter of Lord Henry Carey, together with their only son Emanuel, created Earl of Sunderland 1627.
Thomas Scroope was warden of the west marches, steward of Richmond and Richmondshire, and Bow Bearer of His Majesties Parks, Forests and Chases.
