taken 4 months ago, near to Caldbeck, Cumbria, England

Northernmost point of the Lake District
Northernmost point of the Lake District
Beside the cattle grid on the Caldbeck to Wigton road at Priest’s Brow, the northernmost point of the Lake District National Park lies in the gravelled area in front of the bypass gate. This is the point where the civil parishes of Caldbeck, Westward and Sebergham meet.
The Solway Firth and the Scottish Hills are in the distant background.
