TL4554 : A southbound train passing Cambridge South

A southbound train passing Cambridge South
Work continues on Cambridge South Station, which is due to open in 2025. It will have four platforms, but as yet only one northbound and one southbound track have been laid. Men in high-vis orange are working on the elegant swooping roofs of the station buildings.

The second four-car unit of the King's Cross train is still in Great Western dark green, though part of a Great Northern service.

By way of comparison, see TL4554 : North to Cambridge South, taken almost four weeks before.
