Norcliffe Chapel, Styal
Norcliffe Chapel is a Unitarian chapel and a Grade II listed building. The chapel was built in 1822–23 and was extended 1867 and 1906. Samuel Greg, the founder and owner of Quarry Bank Mill, paid for the construction of the chapel for the use of his workers. Greg was a Unitarian but as many of his workers were Baptists the chapel originally served this denomination, but since 1833 it has been Unitarian.
