Lifeboat, Harbour Road, Seahouses
Established in 1827, Seahouses Lifeboat Station runs both an all-weather lifeboat and an inshore lifeboat. Here is the unsurprisingly named RNLB Grace Darling pulled by the 1985 10420cc TALUS. Mersey Class lifeboat, Grace Darling arrived on station at Seahouses in July 1991. She served as the station lifeboat until December 2020, when the charity's new Shannon Class lifeboat John and Elizabeth Allan replaced her as the operational station lifeboat. Grace Darling, was launched at Seahouses Harbour for the final time on 13th January 2021. The crews have been presented with four awards for gallantry.
