Ings Recreation Ground, Bellfield Avenue, Kingston upon Hull
Ings Recreation Ground extends between Bellfield Avenue and Ings Road, occupying a site of 12.6 acres. Its facilities include the Bluebell skate park, a playground, a pavilion and a football pitch. In addition, there are many trees and the Lambwath Stream aquagreen (designed to prevent flooding of the neighbouring dwellings in Garrick Close, at right of image). Looking from the rough ground, south of the football pitch, towards Bayswater Court, a 17-floor sheltered housing scheme comprising 60 flats, managed by Kingston upon Hull City Council. It jointly shares, with Muswell Court, the distinction of being the highest building in Kingston upon Hull, east of the river Hull.
