SK9670 : Railway Bridge over Main Drain

taken 11 months ago, near to Boultham, Lincolnshire, England

Railway Bridge over Main Drain
Railway Bridge over Main Drain
A skew bridge constructed of concrete panels carries the Lincoln to Newark railway line, to the southeast of Boultham Junction. The railway here is at a lower level than originally because it was altered to allow trains to and from Newark to run via Lincoln Central instead of Lincoln St Marks from 1985.
