SD9354 : Former Grouse Hotel, Gargrave High Street

taken 1 year ago, near to Gargrave, North Yorkshire, England

Former Grouse Hotel, Gargrave High Street
Former Grouse Hotel, Gargrave High Street
The 1909 map shows this as a hotel, and another contributor names it as the Grouse SD9354 : Gargrave - The Grouse on West Street. The building to the left was probably associated with it, perhaps as an assembly or function room above garages or stables, and presumably where the Gargrave Court met as mentioned in Dave's description. The buildings are not statutorily listed.

To the right, a Lonsdale Buses service on route 75 - the 11.35 from Settle to Skipton via Malham. This service runs summer Saturdays only and this was the last day of the 'summer' season.
