The Canon Gate
Supposedly built during the reign of Richard III, and restored from dereliction in 1894 by distinguished architect Ewan Christian, this is a grade I listed building - LinkExternal link and LinkExternal link . It is made, as are so many local historic buildings, of dressed flint, which was once abundant locally.
