RHS Garden Bridgewater is a stunning new 156-acre RHS Garden at Worsley, 8 miles west of Manchester.
The garden is the Royal Horticultural Society's fifth public display garden and has been created on the site of the former Worsley New Hall estate, with the Bridgewater Canal forming the southern boundary. It is the RHS's first new garden since it acquired Harlow Carr in North Yorkshire in 2001 and is one of Europe's largest gardening projects.
Renovation of the garden by the Royal Horticultural Society involves restoration of the walled kitchen garden, recreation of historic features such as the tree-lined Garden Approach and the reworking of the lost terraces. The garden was first opened to the public in 2021.
