Tower Road Play Area - Platinum Jubilee 2022 seat, Hereford
H.M. Queen Elizabeth II came to the throne in February 1952 on the death of her father H.M. King George VI. The Queen died on the 8th September 2022 at the age of 96 years., She had reigned for 70 years 214 days. This is a record for any monarch in the British Isles and probably in the whole world. Her Platinum Jubilee (70 years) was celebrated in June 2022. Hereford City Council placed this seat in the Tower Road Play Area to commemorate the Jubilee.
