Drain, Tucklesholme nature reserve
Tucklesholme nature reserve opened on 17th May 2019, after sand and gravel quarrying ended here in 2018. It is managed by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. It is one a network of current and former quarries which aim to transform the landscape of the Trent valley, by becoming one of the great connected wetland areas in the UK.
