This fine house on Lower High Street dates from the mid-19th century and is Georgian and built in a Strawberry Hill Gothic. It was the home of Iron master, James Foster who manufactured the 'Stourbridge Lion' the first steam locomotive to run on an American railway. The house is Grade II listed, see: LinkExternal link
