Although it looks to have been covered in graffiti, this is apparently the intended design of the bench.
Bramley Park :: SE2335

The town park of Bramley in Leeds covers an area of about 14ha on the north-east slope of Beecroft Hill. Current sports facilities include cricket, football and rugby pitches, basketball court, tennis court and bowling green. There is a small enclosed flower garden and the park also hosts the town war memorial (2014). With eight access points around the perimeter, it is also well used as a walking route between different parts of town as well as by dog walkers and runners (including the weekly Park Run).
