SE0695 : Hill road heading on to Ellerton Moor

taken 3 years ago, 3 km from Marrick, North Yorkshire, England

Hill road heading on to Ellerton Moor
Presumably, the route was originally in place to serve what appear to be shallow mine workings on Ellerton Moor. The road is still clearly in use; there are sheep and so it's for farm access but also military activity as much of the land is an MOD training area.
