TL4555 : Guided busway Biomedical Campus branch

taken 4 years ago, near to Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England

Guided busway Biomedical Campus branch
Guided busway Biomedical Campus branch
This spur of the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway serves the hospitals, laboratories and businesses on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The Laboratory of Molecular Biology is on the left, the incomplete AstraZeneca headquarters (the sawtooth-roofed building) in the centre and Royal Papworth Hospital and another AZ building to the right. These muted colours are not ones normally associated with high summer.

By way of comparison, try TL4555 : Towards the busway bridge and Addenbrooke's (May 2016). TL4555 : Molecular Biology Laboratory: reflections gives an idea of how striking this building is when the weather is brighter.
