SX9291 : Let's just ignore the sign!This is a request - not a compulsion. Unfortunately almost every other cycle path is infested with cyclists dismount signs - often for trivial reasons like crossing a driveway. If you were to obey every one of them, travel would be impossible. The purpose of a cycle path is surely to be able to cycle on it. The reality is that many of them are just dumping grounds for prohibitive no-tices.
Examples are the one along the A5 between Shrewsbury and Nesscliffe and Sustrans route 1 alongside the A92 near Arbroath.
