The Boultham Mere Nature Reserve is located on the right, and is the main reason for anyone to be here. Straight ahead are the remains of some railway control buildings (presumably associated with Pyewipe Junction), with the railway itself crossing the bridge over the channel.
The small dark shape at the end of this track is a fox, which had spent a while consuming the irresponsibly-discarded remains of a barbeque picnic.
