Horsforth Vale, former Clariant Site :: SE2237

Horsforth Vale is a large housing development on the site of the former Clariant factory. The site is being developed by Redrow Homes, and is divided into The Limes, The Green, Abode, and probably other sections not yet named. Development started in 2015, and continues in 2016. Over 500 will be built on the site and perhaps a quarter of the final number have been built by March 2016.
The factory site was originally opened by Sandoz, a textile dyes business that began in Bradford and was acquired by Clariant in 1995. The factory closed in 2009.
