SU7403 : Rubble Beach, Thorney Island

taken 4 years ago, near to North Hayling, Hampshire, England

Rubble Beach, Thorney Island
Rubble Beach, Thorney Island
Long stretches of low lying coastline have been reinforced with demolition rubble. Bricks, tiles, broken concrete and other junk have been spread along the high tide line. It probably does the job all right, it's cheap dumping and good recycling, I suppose. It looks a mess though.
