Viewed across Crane Street from the corner of Market Street on July 26th 2020. This shop has been closed since late March 2020 during the nationwide Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Although many nearby shops have reopened, Argos remains closed with no indication of when it will reopen. Link

Argos was founded in 1973 by Richard Tompkins. The first purpose built store was opened in Canterbury in 1973.
