Fresh growth
Of the dozens of apparently identical bushes that line the path at
TF0820 : Close-bounded path only one - this one - has suddenly decided to put on a flush of fresh pale-green leaves in high summer. All the others are content with what they made in the spring.
I don't, of course, know why. But it is a fascinating observation nevertheless. Nature has a way to fascinate at every turn.
