A contrail in the making over Warwick in lockdown
The first actually seen for weeks. Silently, it cut through the solid blue sky like a knife. The plane is heading west-northwest and is too high for Birmingham. The scrap of cloud to the right may be a decaying contrail from a night flight; that at upper left … hm, some sort of cirrocumulus, or just another decaying contrail?
