Preserved Class 37 (English Electric Type 3) locomotive 37025 "Inverness TMD" sits at the head of a rake of departmental stock at Bristol Temple Meads. The locomotive was built by English Electric in 1961 and was sold for preservation after almost 40 years in service in 2000. Class 37s are known as "tractors" among rail enthusiasts because of the rather agricultural noise they make.
