"Sea Bird is operated by a Not for Profit Charity, Citizen Sea, which has the goal to provide a traditional sail assisted motor vessel to act as a marine hub for Northern Ireland. The vessel is intended to be made available to existing environmental charities, education authorities, public authorities, schools, community groups, clubs and societies to improve and inspire further knowledge and awareness of the marine environment, coastal heritage and culture and to contribute to citizen science and academic research."
