Worcestershire Royal Hospital - erecting steel work
Worcestershire Royal Hospital - erecting steel work
Aconbury East refurbishment. A long and very complex job. It is amazing from the outside, it must be something else again on the inside. The steelwork on the right was erected sometime previously to allow the two silver HVAC ducts to be installed over the cross beam. The wall in that area had also ben clad with rock wool insulation. There is a mass of HVAC ducting and plant on the roof with one operative working on it top left. In the meantime the operatives in the cherry picker are working with hired in Ainscough crane to install a further vertical RSJ.

HVAC = heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The 1970s building had relatively little of this infrastructure and it is all being retrofitted.
