Railway through the Flow Country
Railway through the Flow Country
Southbound train between Altnabreach and Forsinard.
Locating this image, which was only recorded as 'County March', took some detective work. It was narrowed down once I had established that the previous shot on the film was near Altnabreac, and it was a question of identifying a suitable right hand bend with an embankment leading to a cutting with snow fences, with the line heading in a roughly westerly direction. This was the only location that matched, and Pter Moore's view looking back the other way Link shows it to be a good match.
