This hotel/resort complex is in about 160 ha [400 acres] of maturing forestry just east of Penrith. It is now just over 20 years old, and the 800+ 1-6-bedroom lodges are nicely dispersed in groups of about 10 throughout the area. There are also some apartments by the lake. Organised activities are plentiful, indoors and out, with abundant opportunities for various sports, swimming, cycling, and many other activities indoor and out, although the organised ones would rack up a biggish bill for a family of four over a long weekend. There is a large Sports Plaza, lake and Village Centre, and plenty of eating opportunities. It is a largely car-free zone, with a huge car park on the northern side of the complex. Link
