Mobile crane on the Snow Bridge, Kelvingrove
Mobile crane on the Snow Bridge, Kelvingrove
A mobile crane is lifting sediment dug from the bed of the River Kelvin by a small excavator. Two of the arches of the bridge have been isolated by a temporary dam, and the contractors are taking advantage of the extremely low water levels in the river following several weeks of dry weather. It is not clear exactly what maintenance work is being undertaken.
