This former farm building was maintained as a bothy by the Mountain Bothies Association until 2002, when it was relinquished due to problems with vandalism. It appears to be receiving basic maintenance from its current owners, so could potentially re-open in the future.

Today it was deserted apart from some roe deer nearby and the insistent call of a cuckoo from the nearby woods.
