Woolworths did not fail because of "zombie bankers'" They failed because they did not adapt to changing conditions. 25 years ago, Woolies was the place I always went to for small but essential household items . 15 years ago, after many disappointments, I just gave up: the stores were full of rubbish, and I could no longer find the things I needed.
