Alchemilla mollis, Rochdale Road, Walsden
This plant is normally a garden plant, from Asia Minor, but Keble-Martin includes it in his British Flora as a garden escape. It is a ground-cover plant that spreads very quickly. On Street View in June 2011 the plant is established on the wall, but not on the area behind, which is the site of six houses demolished between the 1983 and 1991 editions of the OS 1:2500 map.
This location appears on four versions of Street View at different dates. If you click on "Street View - date" towards the top left of the window you can choose which one to view. You can see the differences in the vegetation at different seasons and the changes over the years.
