Workman Bridge, Evesham
Workman Bridge was erected in 1856 to replace a medi æval bridge. It was named after Henry Workman, long-time mayor of Evesham. At the same time as building the bridge, the River Avon was dredged, and the sediment was used to create the adjacent Workman Gardens. The three-arched bridge is Grade II-listed (List entry Number: 1156175 LinkExternal link Historic England).
