Second World War memorial plaque outside St Margaret's, Underriver
As well as commemorating the three parishioners who died in the Second World War (and those who served but returned safely), the plaque lists the enormous quantity of explosives to fall on the parish during the war: a reminder of how Kent acquired the nickname of "Bomb Alley" during the conflict.
The clock to which it refers is presumably the church clock in the western gable, above this plaque.
