View looking East from the tower of Chester Cathedral
This photo shows the eastern area of Chester with Delamere Forest in the distance on the horizon. In the foreground to the right of the photo can be seen the detached bell tower which dates from 1975 being built of concrete with sandstone at its base. It is also known as the Dean Addleshaw Tower, named after the Dean of Chester Cathedral who was responsible for its construction.
