Two Waters Way near Stafford
Two Waters Way near Stafford
This is about a mile east of Stafford town centre. The new black painted 񊸶M 400 metre bridge across the flood plain of the Penk and Sow rivers is the Two Waters Way and allows pedestrians and cyclists a direct route between Baswich and Kingston Hill housing estates. It has yet to appear on maps or Google satellite images. LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )

The Rivers Penk and Sow have their confluence about a hundred metres east of the bridge. Cattle graze freely across the flood plain except during the winter, or when flood alerts are in place. Link
