Former Crown closed again
Originally a Robinson's pub, The Crown was closed in 2009 SJ9594 : The Crown and in 2010 it was replastered and fitted with double-glazed windows upstairs and black steel shutters downstairs SJ9594 : No longer the Crown. The rear portion was converted into apartments with entrances on Nelson Street.
The Market Street front premises became a Ladies only fitness and toning salon in 2012 SJ9594 : Fitness Physique. Within a year they had moved out and "Ta Tech Solutions" SJ9594 : Ta Tech Solutions moved in. Only a few months later the property was to let again SJ9594 : Former Crown Inn To Let again.
In 2015 the premises reopened as Cafe Barm SJ9594 : Cafe Barm open advertising Full English Breakfast, sandwiches, beverages and free wifi. Now it is closed again.
