Geograph - photograph every grid square

This is a view upstream of a stream to the south of the centre of West Wittering village. The stream issues a few tens of yards to the northeast almost opposite the "Old House at Home" pub. It flows under the arch in the wall seen ahead in this image; under the footbridge from which this photo was taken and after about half a mile or so empties itself into Snowhill Creek, having gained water from several land drains in its short course. The footbridge from which this was taken is on a public footpath which links the private road to the beach car park and a small collection of houses called The Wad. In front of the wall with the arch in it, and parallel with it on the left side of the stream can be seen two other walls almost reaching the stream. I think that these are the ends of the walls of the "Old Sheep Wash" seen in SZ7798 : The Old Sheep Wash, West Wittering
