Taken on the coastal path linking Low Newton-by-the-Sea with Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course and Embleton, Northumberland, I am looking west at the accretion of water playing temporary host to a collection of wading birds being watched by a number of birders who had gathered along this stretch of path with binoculars and scopes.
