NZ1753 : The former Harperley Hotel

taken 10 years ago, near to South Moor, County Durham, England

The former Harperley Hotel
The former Harperley Hotel
It is just possible to make out the lettering "Harperley" on this building which once was the Harperley Hotel (locally known as the "Ratepayers Arms" as for a while it was in public ownership). Some of the buildings have now been demolished. See also NZ1753 : Harperley Hotel which shows the hotel in its heyday in 2007.
