St Mary's church, Kempley
Wild daffodils in the churchyard of St Mary's church. The church of St Mary's dates from the 12th century and is the original church in Kempley. Over the centuries the centre of the village has moved to higher ground 2 miles to the south where a new church was built in 1903, making this church redundant. The interior of this church has some wonderful medieval wall paintings dating back to the 12th century.
