SD4293 : Small tarn on Cat Crag

taken 11 years ago, near to Winster, Cumbria, England

Small tarn on Cat Crag
Small tarn on Cat Crag
Above Winster are several blocks of CRoW access land. This one is a rough expanse of bracken and small outcrops with scattered thorn and birch scrub. It is an interesting place to wander through with several overgrown tarns although the bracken might hinder progress at the height of summer.
