Railway bridge abutments Abergavenny
This is all that remains of the old LNWR bridge over the Usk at Abergavenny. The satellite image on Google Maps shows the remains of the old piers in midstream; on my photo the only evidence of them is the disturbances in the water. The line - the old Merthyr, Tredegar and Abergavenny Railway - opened in 1860 and closed in 1958.
