Taken in March 1996, this former bus garage opened as a tram depot on 12th July 1927 and had a capacity for eighty tramcars on its ten tracks. It later opened as a bus depot on 2nd January 1935. Closure of the bus garage took place on Saturday 2nd August 1986 with the routes it operated and the vehicles transferred to the Birmingham Central Garage in Liverpool Street, Bordesley; SP0886 refers.
